Putri Ryoko Font Free Download
We could not find an official Putri Ryoko free download. Putri Ryoko is a commercial handwritten font by HaKi Studio, sold on Creative Market, and a desktop licence cost $15 per seat when we checked in October 2026.
Putri Ryoko free download: what’s actually available
The Creative Market listing is a paid product page. It has a live text preview, so you can type your own words and see them in the font, but there is no demo file and no personal-use version. A line about “trial fonts to test” appears on the page, but it belongs to Creative Market’s Enterprise or Custom licence and is not an offer for this font.
We found no free Putri Ryoko file from HaKi Studio elsewhere either. If a site offers a Putri Ryoko free download of the whole font, it is not the designer’s release and it comes with no right to use the font.
A paid licence gets you three files, named on the listing:
- Putri Ryoko.otf
- Putri Ryoko.ttf
- Putri Ryoko.woff
The download is 517.12 KB, and the listing went live on 13 August 2024. The $15 Desktop licence covers personal and commercial projects alike, from a printed invitation to a client’s logo. Webfont, E-pub and App use cost extra.

A handwritten script, not a display face
Putri Ryoko is sometimes billed as a versatile display font. Creative Market files it under Handwritten fonts, and the listing’s related searches point to logotype, cursive, signature, calligraphy and script styles. That is a more useful starting point. Expect a pen-drawn script rather than a bold poster face.
HaKi Studio’s own description is short. It says Putri Ryoko has a “new style” and suggests it for quotes, logos, blog headers, posters, branding, letters, invitations and stationery. The listing has five preview images. We have not examined the font files, so we cannot tell you whether it includes extras such as ligatures, swashes or alternate letters. The listing does not mention any, and it does not state language support either. If you need accented letters, type them into the live preview before you buy.
Do not confuse it with Putri Afifah, another script in the same HaKi Studio shop. The two names are similar, but they are separate products.
Price and licence options (checked October 2026)
- Desktop: $15 per seat
- Webfont: $15, shown on sale at $12.75
- E-pub: $30, shown on sale at $27.75
- App: $120, shown on sale at $117.75
- Enterprise or Custom: contact Creative Market sales
Creative Market also advertised 15 percent off a lower-priced licence and another 15 percent off when you buy several licences together.
Which licence fits? Under Creative Market’s font licence, Desktop covers unlimited personal and commercial work made on your computer, including print, packaging, social media and ads. On websites and in apps it allows only rasterised use, such as a logo saved as an image. Embedding the WOFF file in a site needs the Webfont licence. A font inside an e-book or an app needs the E-pub or App licence. Each person on a team who installs the font needs a seat. This is a summary of the published terms, not legal advice.
Using a signature-style script well
HaKi Studio’s suggestions fit the way handwritten scripts usually work best: in short phrases at a large size.
- Logos and signatures: a name or a brand mark for a photographer, a boutique or a small business
- Quotes and social posts: one line of text over a photo
- Wedding and party stationery: the couple’s names or the event title, with the details in a plainer font
- Product labels: candles, cosmetics and handmade goods
Avoid long paragraphs and all-caps settings. Script capitals joined together are hard to read.
Pair Putri Ryoko with a simple partner that does not compete. A quiet serif such as Lora or a light sans such as Montserrat works for dates, addresses and body text. Spaced-out small capitals in the partner font are a common and readable way to balance a script.
Free Google Fonts to consider
The three free fonts below were suggested as alternatives, but be clear about what they are. None is a handwritten script, so they cannot replace Putri Ryoko’s look. They can work if you need a free headline font with character instead.
- Abril Fatface is a heavy, high-contrast serif for headlines. It is elegant in a magazine-cover way, not a handwritten way.
- Righteous is a rounded geometric display sans with an Art Deco flavour. It is bold and friendly, with none of a script’s flow.
- Monoton is a multi-line, neon-style display font. It is for large, short words only and is far from a signature style.
If you specifically want a free cursive, browse the Handwriting category on Google Fonts, where every family is free for commercial use.
How to install Putri Ryoko
Windows: unzip the download, right-click Putri Ryoko.otf and choose Install. Mac: double-click the file and click Install Font in Font Book. Restart Word, Photoshop or Illustrator so the font shows in the menu.
For Canva, upload the OTF to your Brand Kit; this needs a Canva plan that allows font uploads. Cricut Design Space uses the fonts installed on your computer, so install the font first and then choose it under System fonts.
