Glass Marbles Font Free Download

Glass Marbles

Glass Marbles is a colour font, so a Glass Marbles free download would not behave like an ordinary font even if one existed, and as far as we could find, it does not: designer Gleb Guralnyk sells it as a paid product on Creative Market. A desktop licence was $14 per seat when we checked in October 2026.

Glass Marbles free download: the official options

The only official source we found is the Glass Marbles listing on Creative Market. It sells licences and does not offer a demo, trial or personal-use file. Gleb Guralnyk also publishes other fonts on MyFonts, but we found no Glass Marbles page or free version there.

A site offering a Glass Marbles free download of the full set is not the designer, and the file would come with no licence.

According to the listing, a licence gets you two things:

  • A colour bitmap font in OpenType-SVG (OTF-SVG) format, which the designer says can also be used as a regular OTF font.
  • A set of full-resolution PNG letters with transparent backgrounds, about 6 megapixels each on average.

The download is large, about 332 MB, because of those PNG files. Prices when we checked in October 2026: Desktop $14 per seat, Webfont $14 (shown at $11.90), E-pub $28 and App $112. The product was added on 12 July 2024.

What Glass Marbles looks like, per the designer

We have not opened the files, so this is the designer’s description. The listing calls Glass Marbles a glossy, 3D-rendered typeface with rounded shapes and a transparent, abstract effect. Our earlier summary of the listing put it as “glossy, rounded letterforms” for “vibrant and playful designs.”

Each letter is a rendered image rather than a flat outline. That is why the font is sold as a “color bitmap” font, and why it looks the same as the listing previews only in software that supports colour fonts.

Colour fonts and the software that supports them

An OpenType-SVG font stores a full-colour picture inside each character. In an app that supports it, you type normally and get glossy glass letters. In an app that does not, you get either a plain fallback version or nothing useful.

The listing says Glass Marbles works in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Procreate. Its FAQ gives minimum versions for Adobe apps:

  • Photoshop CC 18.0 or later
  • Illustrator CC 22.0.0 or later
  • InDesign CC 13.0.1 or later

Our earlier copy of the listing also named Affinity Designer. The designer notes that colour fonts are a newer technology with some software limitations, so check your app before you buy.

A few practical points follow from how colour fonts work. You cannot recolour the letters with a fill colour the way you would a normal font, because the colour is part of the glyph. Sizing up is fine for headlines, but each letter is still a bitmap, so very large prints may soften.

The PNG letters: the route for Canva and Cricut

The PNG set is the most flexible part of the package. Each letter is a separate image with a transparent background, so you can place it in any app that accepts images, even one with no colour font support.

  1. Unzip the PNG folder and find the letters you need.
  2. Upload them to your app (for example Canva’s Uploads panel) as images.
  3. Arrange and space the letters by hand to spell your word.

This takes longer than typing, but it is the reliable way to use Glass Marbles in tools that would otherwise show a flat fallback.

Character set: English only

The listing states that Glass Marbles supports English letters and basic punctuation only, and points buyers to a character-set screenshot. If you need accented letters such as é, ü or ñ, this font will not cover them.

Licensing and installation

Creative Market’s Desktop licence covers “unlimited commercial and personal projects,” including packaging, merchandise and paid ads, with one seat per user. Webfont, E-pub and App licences are separate. The Creative Market font licence page has the full terms; this is a summary, not legal advice.

To install the Glass Marbles font, unzip it and install the OTF-SVG file. On Windows, right-click it and choose Install. On a Mac, double-click it and click Install Font in Font Book. Then restart your design app.

Free alternatives to Glass Marbles

These three free Google Fonts are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, which allows commercial use. None of them is a colour font, so they give you the bold shape of a playful headline but not the glass effect.

  • Anton is a tall, condensed, heavy sans serif. It is the most neutral choice and takes effects such as gradients or bevels well in Photoshop.
  • Shrikhand is a chunky, rounded italic display face. Its soft, bubbly shapes are the closest in spirit to the rounded letters the listing describes.
  • Rubik Mono One is a wide, rounded, monospaced capitals font. It reads as playful and blocky, good for short words on posters.

If you specifically want a free colour font, Google Fonts also carries a few, such as Nabla, which has built-in 3D colour layers.

No. It is a commercial font by Gleb Guralnyk, sold on Creative Market. We found no official Glass Marbles free download or demo in October 2026.

Does Glass Marbles work in Canva?

The listing does not list Canva among supported apps. The simplest route is to upload the included transparent PNG letters to Canva as images.

What do I get when I buy Glass Marbles?

An OTF-SVG colour font and a set of high-resolution transparent PNG letters. The download is about 332 MB.

Does Glass Marbles support other languages?

Can I change the colour of Glass Marbles letters?

Not with a normal fill colour, because the colours are built into each glyph. You can adjust the look with image tools such as hue or colour adjustments in Photoshop.
